Vince's DHTML Pop Out Menu - 1/28/2002 12:58:08
This is a weird one. I've been using Vince's menu for about a week and it works great. However, I'm in an office where I will be sharing my wwwroot with others.
Here's the problem: to get other people to be able to see my wwwroot without needing a name and password, I have to set Integrated Windows Authentication to off. When I do this, passwords are no longer needed, but the Javascript doesn't implement properly. If I turn Integrated Windows Authentication back on, the thing works fine, but is unaccessable to others on the network. Help?

allow anonymous...
allow anonymous to run scripts...

it's in IIS, website, properties? If you are using PWS then I am clueless!

All this to change a number into a name...

I've figured it out. Basically went to my C: drive and reset all files and folders to accept inheritable permissions, and the problem went away. Regardless of whether Integrated Windows Authentication was selected or not....woo hoo!
