Guest -> Gaps in text (4/5/2001 17:45:00)

Could you have a look at this someone?
www.kpmuktaxis.com/news.htm
Why does the last line of text in each cell have a bigger space between the line of text?
This is not a disaster but it looks poor.
Thanks

Could it have to do with the vspace you have set for the cell holding the image?

Try putting a shift-enter at the end of each of those lines and see if that fixes it. Has always worked for me.

The problem with that (shift+enter) is the line breaks will be in the wrong places when viewed in different text sizes.

I usually start typing in mid-line on one of the lines doesn't have the problem and just re-type the last part. Then give a line break (enter) and delete the extra part.

If you look at the coding, the text is laid out with spaces in the coding (not & nbsp ...but just actually space). I'm not sure, but if you got rid of that and had everything running together that might solve the problem. I tried this before ...I just don't remember if it works.

Oops, I wasn't very clear with that answer. I didn't mean a line break at the end of each line, just at the end of the lines that show a problem - at the end of the paragraph.

Yes I agree Linda, a line break at the end of each line would alter things at different resolutions.

LB, I used your tip and started typing again in the last but one line of text (where it was still ok. did the carriage return and deleted the old text I had just retyped ahead of it .... and it worked. Excellent Thanks Steve
