Vince's Pop Out Menu - dealing with word wrap - 1/30/2002 9:29:54
I am using Vince's pop out menu. I am dealing with some limitations as to how wide the menu "buttons" can be. At the same time I have some long winded titles. These longer titles wrap to a second line, which I have no problem with, but if it wraps I need to have the two lines aligned together. An example is "Geodemographic Analysis" appears like: -Geodemographic Analysis (- represents blank space)The first line indents a space, the second line is flush left. Any suggestions for how I can modify the javascript to solve this? Thanks!

Hi Try writing Geodemographic>"& nbsp ; ";Analysis - but without the inverted commas and spaces. Cheers Andy Internet Business Solutions S.L. Edited by - Andy from Spain on 01/30/2002 10:00:07

Hi An inverted comma is one of these " - I had to add them otherwise I'd get a blank space in my reply - hence the editing. Cheers Andy Internet Business Solutions S.L.

Are you saying you want a space before the word in the second row? If that's the case, I would force a line break between long titles, and use a non-breaking space as Andy said before the second word. I'm not really familiar with Vince's script, but if the titles are within the script, I would add <br> after the first word (or line), and add & n b s p ; (without the spaces) before the second line. This should separate your long titles into two lines and place a space before the first word of the second line. Note, I had to place spaces between the letters of the non-breaking space so it would show up in this forum. Is this what you're after? ginnie Global Presence Web Design
