printing automatically - 1/30/2002 16:09:42
I wish to view a photo of size 6 by 4 inches by clicking on a link and hyperlinking to the picture but frontpage is altering the size of the picture to the full screen. How do i stop this so it keeps its size of 6 by 4 so i can print it off at 6 by 4.

At the same time as i click on the hyperlink i wish the print screen to automatically print the 6 by 4 picture. Alternatively if it is possible to click the hyperlink and it atomatically prints out without the user haveing to do anything that would be even better.

Please could you help
thanks
Gene

The picture should be displayed at the size it was created. So try reducing the size to fit the specs you are looking for and it should work fine.

You could add a "Print this Page" button to the page with the picture. I don't know of anything to make it print automatically, and quite frankly, that would drive me nuts if my printer started up without *me* telling it to.

Here's a javascript for the print function (but it *does* have to be on a separate page with the picture):

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">

<!-- Begin
if (window.print) {
document.write('<form>Click here to '
+ '<input type=button name=print value="Print" '
+ 'onClick="javascript:window.print()"> this page now!</form>');
}
// End -->
</script>
