Authoring Permission - 1/30/2002 20:39:28
Hi,
This past weekend, I reformatted my hard drive. Before I did so, I backed up my web site onto a zip drive. After the reformatting, I copied the web to my desktop and reinstalled FrontPage. I successfully edited the site, but couldn't publish it. It gave be an error saying I didn't have authoring permission. I went to tools/security to change the write protection, but it wasn't an option (reverse video white). I also right clicked on the folder on my desktop and looked under properties to see if I could uncheck "read only", but it wasn't selected as read only.
Any ideas how I can publish to my site again?
