Paus Motors - 1/31/2002 14:20:40
I'm about done with this one. About to actually get paid for a site

The client is going to provide me with better pictures on the opening page, but that is about the only thing left.
Vehicle search won't work til it's published on their server.

http://www.kwpnfm.com/paus

Their current site is at http://www.pausmotorsales.com/

Thanks for any input folks!

Rich

Very nice! I love the buttons on the bottom - neat mouseover effect. The buttons on the top seemed blurry by comparison. Good job!

Cool site!
You might want to warn them about posting their sales staffs Home numbers though. This opens them up to Head Hunter heaven. But hey ... its their site.
I would have to agree with EWD on the buttons. The bottom ones are very cool but you barley notice the rollovers at the top.
Over all I give it a 9 out of 10.
Keep it up!

Thanks guys. The bottom was made with an online flash generator at guistuff.com unfortunately I wasn't able to flip it over for the top so had to "try" and re-create a similar look in photoshop. Still learning...

And to give credit where it's due, it started with a template that I modified from aplustemplates.

Any display problems? I know the page name graphics and logo don't fit the same in Netscape but the tabs seem to work the same in nn and ie.

Wow, what an improvement. The only thing that threw me off was the list at the left, I thought it was a menu for a second

I think, therefore I am, I think.

The automotive makes list kinda bothers me too. I suggested they link to the manufacturers sites for product information but he was very against sending anyone there because of past attempts at direct online sales. I had tiny modern logos there be he didn't want that either.

Thanks again for the looks.

Rich

Rich,

Can you just make it look a little less like it should be a menu? Slide it somewhere else maybe (not much there)? Actually as a quick thought it could be a menu to a statement of each makers positives? Not a biggee just a thought. You can tell from my sig I think too much (and tend to be confused too)

I think, therefore I am, I think.

That is a great idea. I may run with that. At the very least if they went to a page with the basics about the different makes, the models, etc....

I love this forum.

Thanks Mike

Hi,

I like your site too. It is nice and clean. Did you use a template? I have done an Auto Dealer's site too, but it is more pages and uses frames. www.lakelandgm.comI like yours better.

It started off as one of the templates from aplustemplates. I took what I liked about it and modified it. You can see how it started here.

I hope it's ok to post the link.

HOLY COW!

That is awesome. I've been spreading the word about the great service you have Troy. (without over selling it...if you know what I mean) But that is wayyyyy over and above what anyone could expect.

I'm glad I found your site, just hope not too many people sign up or I won't look as good as I do.

You are da man!

I've got those top tabs in now. The only thing I can't figure out is how to get the white space between the tabs and the cell below it downn to 1 pixel. Or is it even that obvious?

Thanks again Troy!

Its the way I built the images. The height will need to be shortened by 1 pixel... No biggie

Grab the new graphics here:
http://www.aplustemplates.com/temp/paus/index2.htm

You'll need to refresh to see the new graphics...

Thanks for the kind comments...

See ya:)

Nice looking site. Clean, very clean. I like the mouse over effects. Home phone numbers for sales people, I would have hated that, but I'm in Ca.

You did the mouse overs with Flash. Very nice I'm gonna have to learn that.
