GoDario27 -> FP Server Extensions (2/5/2002 11:09:58)
|
All forms on my web (www.bfis.com - see "Request Additional Information" link on the home page) return this error: ** FrontPage Run-Time Component Page You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly. This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. ** I have checked on the server and it looks like the extensions are installed and the correct SMTP is setup. (When I used to have the form e-mail the results, I got [Frontpage Component Error}...but I've removed it and just have it going to a text file, now). Think re-installing the extensions would do it?! One other thing that *may* or *may not* have anything to do with it...I created the web on another web server we have - and, since I am not able to publish to my web directly because of permissions, I published it to my hard drive, burnt it on cd and then did a copy/paste of the files into my webserver. When I published to my local machine, it warned me that I need to publish to a server with FP extensions for the form to work. ~ Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ------- ~~Before you critisise someone, first walk a mile in their shoes -- That way, when you do critisise them, you're a mile away and have their shoes.
