Anyone here know CorelDraw! 9? I have a problem... - 2/7/2002 15:25:22
I am an experienced CorelDraw user, but when I installed Version 9, the kerning/character spacing on the smaller fonts is all out of whack. I have tried every text format, kerning, spacing, paragraph, artistic text adjustment I can find and nothing seems to correct the problem. I'm using Windows XP Home, if that makes any difference. Any suggestions? Thanks Phil "If God is not a Tar Heel, then why are hyperlinks default-colored Carolina blue?" http://www.1awebhosting.com 1A Web Hosting for Frontpage.

Hi Phil, Have you also installed the two service packs for version 9? If not, they are available for download from the Corel website http://www.corel.com/support/ftpsite/pub/coreldraw/draw9suite/Index.htm It looks like they address your problem. Good luck, CindyB Gary Ready Page Graphic Design www.ready-page.com

Yeah, I saw that, but I didn't know if it would help. I haven't had too good luck with service packs on anything. Everytime I installed a service pack for Windows 98 or Internet Explorer stuff started crashing worse than before. Thanks anyway!
