jrrnow -> WYSIWIG - Is it so? (7/20/2001 20:23:00)

I am using FP98 and when I do my designing in the normal view I have to make the type so small to be resonable when I preview in browser but then I can't read it to edit it without increasing the size of the type a couple of times. I then edit as needed and then have to resize it back to the appropriate size so when I preview in browser it is not Godzilla sized.

I have copied a couple pages off the web from some of the participants here and it seems like when I put the pages in normal view and preview or preview in browser they are all the same size. Why?

All this to say. My WYSIWIG ain't working or I got it turned off or something.

Thanks for your help

I don't know if I'm explaining this well

Save yourself a lot of headaches and frustration - upgrade to al least 2000.

I'm not sure what might be going on - I bought 98, used it for a week and uninstalled it - only after I got 2000 did I find FP "useable".
But, WYSIWYG means "What YOU See Is What YOU Get - Not what the browser renders or what anyone else sees. Don't make the mistake of thinking the way a page looks to you is the way it will look once it's published.
