Does anyone have any advice on how to create a website template in Paint Shop Pro? I would like to create the template or theme in PaintShop and use it in Frontpage. Any advice will be appreciated!

Seems to me like you could create a new image that was 590 or 750 pixels wide and however long (to simulate screen size). After you've done your artwork, chop it up into individual gifs that you would lay out in a FP table.

by template you mean, like a Theme?

PSP is good for making buttons and banners. Just make template button images, banners, arrows, etc. Then in FP use tables and include pages to design the layout.

That the sort of advice you're looking for?

Hi ZJ,

I'm a bit confused too by your request. If you strictly mean "website template", I take that to mean that you want to create a FP website and save it as a template for subsequent use in creating other websites that look similar and have the same structure, no? And your mention of Photoshop to mean that you want to create graphics to fill that template?

Am I anywhere on target here?

If you mean you want to use a template, then I highly recommend purchasing one of the extremely reasonable templates offered right here from Outfront. Will save you a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.

Sorry about the confusion. I'm starting to understand Paint Shop Pro a little better now. I bought the program this weekend after using the trial offer a few days. I think I will try a pre made template out to see what I can do with it. Thanks!
