Uploading changes on website - 2/11/2002 12:48:05
I'm in the process of creating a website for a customer. I use "Hostway" as my hosting company. The customer would like to be able to post changes directly on the website without using FrontPage. Is there a way to do this (something like live updates)?

Set up a form that the client fills out and that form posts the results to an htm based file. you can password if you want. The form results are then placed in a web page using the include component....
All this to change a number into a name...

When I tried using the method you describe, I get a "Run-time component" error. I realize you must Publish the site to use the some of the FrontPage features, but our site is too big to use Publish, and I've been successfully using FTP on many FrontPage features. Can this one be made to work? Or is there another work-around?
