Whats the difference? - 2/12/2002 14:27:55
What is the difference between Javascript and VBScript and what are the compatibility issues (ie browser, server, etc). Can you tell I'm a newbie? What did we do before the internet? Montine

They're two different scripting languages. JavaScript is modleled after Java and C, while VBScript closely resembles MS Visual Basic in syntax. They can pretty much accomplish the same tasks. ---------- Who put the self-destruct button THERE?!

... but client-side VBScript will only work on Internet Explorer whereas JavaScript will basically work on I.E., Netscape, Opera... Server-side VBScript is used for writing Active Server Pages and the browser has no effect on its compatibility. ginnie Global Presence Web Design
