HELP! - 2/18/2002 9:35:37
Here's my latest site -- any ideas on how to get a quicker download time? I've converted to gif and I *really* like the mouse-overs in the graphics. Of course, when I was building it on my test server, it was instantaneous (sp?!) but when I uploaded to their webserver, it bogged out! Also, as slices are loading, sometimes I'll get an X on one of them (like it can't find the link to the image) but if I refresh, it's there. Grrrrr! As always, any and all feedback on any and all aspects of the web and design is welcome and appreciated! TIA, Lee ------- ~~Before you critisise someone, first walk a mile in their shoes -- That way, when you do critisise them, you're a mile away and have their shoes.

I think the site looks great... but your right it is a little on the slow side. What program are you using to create your rollovers and images? Getting the images to a more manageable size might help the infamous "x" problem too.

I use DreamWeaver to create the graphics & rollovers and then import the html into my FrontPage web page. Resolution is 72 dpi. ------- ~~Before you critisise someone, first walk a mile in their shoes -- That way, when you do critisise them, you're a mile away and have their shoes.
