recalculate - 2/19/2002 16:02:52
I was told by a guy at my server that if I recalculate the website I "won't ever hurt the FP extensions." Is that true?
I'm running into some form handler issues and am looking at FormMail.pl so that I can still FTP without worrying about corrupting the extensions. But if recalculating fixes everything then I can use FP's form handler and still FTP. This sounds almost too easy and too good to be true, is it?

You cannot use FPs form handler unless you publish to a site with FP extensions.
I think he may mean recalculating hyperlinks - Tools>Recalculate hyperlinks. Thouhg quite honestly I do not think that has anything to do with extensions.
If you want to use FP form handler, publish. If you want to FTP use formmail.pl or something similar.
Actually once you become accostomed to it formmail is probably nicer and easier than using an FP form - I now use it for preference even on those sites I publish with FP.
