HELP! - Lost navigation buttons - 4/7/2001 20:51:00
Hello,I have never used FrontPage to publish a web. A friend of mine wanted to switch his web site to my dedicated server. I downloaded his complete site using FTP. I then published his site to the new server using FrontPage. For some reason the active navigation buttons are gone on both the site and on the computer files. This site has many pages. Do I need to start from scratch, or can this be fixed? Thank you, Deve

Probably starting from scratch is the best idea - if the site is still on the original server. If this is so, open FP, Click File>Open web and put the full url of the site in the folders box - eg http://www.thesite.com It will tehn open in FP and you can publish it to your hard drive and from there to the new server. That way all the additional files created by FP will be transferred also. ------------------ Katherine InKK Design LinKKs - Kilkenny's Online Magazine -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* "Dogs have owners, cats have staff!"

Thanks for the reply. There is a chance that the old site is no longer available. They are checking to see if they have a backup. If so, they want $100. It looks like I have all of the pages, just no links between them.Thank you, David
