Feedback File - 2/23/2002 22:58:13
I have a feedback form on my web page. The form works and I get a confirmation page showing the results when I "submit" the form.
The problem is I can't open the "feedback.txt" file to read the results.
The server says it can't find can't find the page.
How do I open the file? Also, is this on my computer or on my server? I mean does it ever send the "feedback information" to my computer?

By default, the results are submitted to form_results.txt under the _private folder on your server. Pages under this folder are not viewable in the browser.
To open the file, you must login to your webspace either by FP or FTP and save it to your computer, then open it to read.

Thanks everyone.
I am reading my "results" from my form as a HTML page.
I will read some more and try and log on to my server.
I can upload my web page but I don't know how to open the feedback.txt file or save it to my hard drive.
How do I look at my web files on the server?
I load my web pages and Front Page says "Done" or "View Web Page."
If I go to "View Web Page" it just opens IE inside Front Page.
Is there a way, and I am sure there is, I can see my "web files on the server" and not my web pages?
