Personally I think the .co.uk looks kinda like a cartoon and not half as professional as perhaps it could.

Hi Sand,
I'm sorry I couldn't get in too deep on this critique, but I'll tell you this. I definitely like the .com one better. However, that is not to say the .co.uk isn't okay too.
I'm on a very fast line here at the office, and it took a bit of time to load both sites. I'm not sure why.....maybe a firewall thingee here, who knows.
The .co.uk seemed to be a lot of reading. I know, that's not a totally bad thing, but I also know that people have short attention spans and don't like a lot of verbiage. You may try to shorten it a bit, or cut it into bits and bobs and serve it up a little at a time.
Just a couple of observations.. Hope it helps a bit.

I experienced the same slow page loading times. I am on a T1 with a firewall too. The firewall has never been a factor in speed as far as I can tell.
