Site Revampment... - 2/25/2002 9:27:03
Hello everone,

Well after about a month of absorbing all the info from you guys I can I decided it was time to redo my companys website.
The New Version is here...
http://www.coeco.com/coeco/Default.htm
and the old version is here...
http://www.coeco.com/coecocorp/default.htm

Ive gotten better with tables (Id like to think so at least) so I fixed the site for our freinds still using 800 x 600 screen resolution.

The only problem that I can see so far is Netscape (darn that Netscape!) wants to put my tables background in each cell. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks in advance for all your help. Theres no way I could have done what I have with out this forum.

Hi, Scott.

I can't help you with the Netscape problem, but I looked at your site and Pilots was not spelled right in the title tag of the page.

Hi Scott,
You'll need to put an underscore in some of your page names. NN 4.7 cant get to some of the pages..

Change CEO Letter.htm to CEO_Letter.htm and so on.

Thats the 1st thing that jumped out at me...

I think it looks real spiffy. Nice work Scott. Clean design and loads fast (for me.) Didn't check to see if you have alt text for images, I forgot. If not, that's the only thing I can think of. Thanks for sharing.

I'm using Netscape and do not notice the table background problem you mentioned. However, I did notice that on your Contact Us page, the Submit/Reset buttons are way to the left of the form itself. I'm assuming that the form is centered in IE, but in Netscape, that page in particular is not aligned. Can't tell you why, though.

I like the site. It's simple, clean, consistent and easily navigable. Nice job.

The site looks really nice. The only thing I noticed was that the page background color was not set (personal preference).

You can use nested tables to get rid of that netscape issue. Basically you make one big table and set the background picture. Then you place another table inside that one with your content in it.
