Viewing Pages - 8/1/2001 22:19:00
I want to thank everyone for the help that I received before. I have another question:
The pages that I am working on look great in FP98, when I view them on the IE, or Netscape, they appear as if they are off-center? Is this possible? When I preview them in FP, they look like they should. When I preview them using the browsers, they look like they are shifting towards one side.
How can I remedy this problem??

Always preview in the browsers. Preview in FP is not accurate. Are you using tables? Please give us a URL to view or a bit more information.

I had this happen to me using FP2002 on some new pages. Not sure why it happened. A couple of pages became "left" while the rest were centered.

Check your html --- I found a "left" attribute set in a <span> around the page.

Thanxs for the suggestions. I am not using tables. I have not published my site, so I do not know how I could "send it" so that someone may look at it and find the problem. It seems that it is off to the right. I took the suggestion offered by a member, but I did not find any left attributes in the html. I have tried to shift the pages over to where the page should be, and it seems to move a bit when I preview it, but in the FP it is WAY OVER to the edge; making it almost impossible to work with the pages. I wish I could explain the problem properly, but as the name sugggest, I am in a loss for words. Please help.

Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately, I do not see any attributes that are making the pages shift over to the left.
