Snippets Vault - 2/28/2002 22:22:08
I posted a question back at the thread: http://66.155.126.102/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=&whichpage=1&TOPIC_ID=11856 I wanted to know how to display a txt file (that contained ASP, JavaScript, and HTML code) in a browser (but having the code display only as text and wrapping properly in the browser window). The txt file in question was the code snippets I've collected over time. William suggested I share my snippets here. So here you are:

  • Right-mouse-click on the hyperlink below & "Save target as..."
    http://www.serenitynet.net/uploads/snippets.txt

  • If you want, send me snippets you've found really useful. As I have time, I'll add them to the file at the url above. Just e-mail them to me in a txt file (I'll discard any other kind) ready to copy and paste into the existing file. Try to give credit to your source.

Maybe someday I'll make a little Snippets Vault Database where we can all share. Miracles do happen...

Thank you as I am very sure many will benefit from your effort to compile these snippets overtime. I know I will!

Sorry, I changed my directory structure and forgot to move the snippets.

I've edited the URL above. And here it is too: http://www.serenitynet.net/uploads/snippets.txt (right-mouse-click the URL and "Save target as...").

Enjoy,
Andrew
