1 hover button - 2 target frames - 4/9/2001 20:28:00
I am using a 3 frames (header, leftside, body). In the leftside frame, I have hover buttons for my links. What I am trying to accomplish is when a hover button is clicked, the header and the body both change. For example: in the leftside is a hover button labelled PHOTOS. When PHOTOS is clicked, I want the body to open the page with the photos, and I want the header to open a page with my links to more photos. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

IMHO The easiest way to do it is to make the photos page a whole new frameset with the target "top".

I forgot to mention hover buttons are evil.Use with caution.

I use frames alot and find that the best way in doing what you want to do is to create a page with only two frames split vertically. The left frame will be the one with the hovers. And the right will be a page with two frames.

First create a page with two frames split horizontal. The top will be your banner and the bottom will be your body. Save. For example I call it "Products"

Now create a page with vertical split. The left frame select your page that you want that has the hover buttons on it. The right side select the page that you two frames in it, "products".

So in short you have three frames but really only two frames on that page.

So with your hover button your will link it to the two frame page using the right frame as the target.

Here is a website that I have done that I think is the look that you are after http://www.nda.eng.co.nz
