Could you post a URL so that we could take a look?

Hi,

I just hit your site with Netscape 4.X. They are right I can not even get to your navigation. All your drop in effects do not show also. The best thing I can say is in FP go to tools/page options/compatibility/browsers and select the option for both Netscape and IE.

You may want to check corrections that you make with this on-line tool...

If you are concerned with Netscape 3/4.X people then you might want to check DHTML features before you use them also.

Hope this helps,

Brian

Hi Brian
That was easy.........until I looked at it in the browser and found my lost & found page doesn't exist (help) and in the Html validation there are loads & loads of errors, I would be petrified to start messing around with the code that much, it looks ok (apart from the missing page) so what should I do?

The three main things I would suggest are:

1. Get rid of the hover buttons, they cause problems and not just for Netscape. Try this instead for making your buttons: http://www.builder.com/Programming/Kahn/012898/

2. The scrolling Marquee will not work in NN - either rethink it of have a look here for alternative browser compatible scrolls: www.javascript.internet.com

3. Don't use the space bar to lay out elements of the page - the effect is unpredictable. Use tables instead.
