yankeeblues -> quick way to add javascript "close window"? (3/11/2002 21:37:04)

Hi all. I am looking for a simple way to make an imagemap with a javascript "close" command for a popup box graphic. Thanks for your suggestions. I am having trouble adapting a close button or hyperlink script to the imagemap. Thanks.

You mean like this?

<form>
<input type="button" value="Close Window" onClick="window.close()">
</form>

well, sort of. But I wanted to tie the command to an imagemap (not button value which shows a button). What I finally figured out was simply to paste this tiny script into the "make hyperlink url" command prompt: javascript:window.close()

I was too lazy to code the imagemap by hand and find using the FP link prompt box faster anyway. So I made the imagemap with frontpage and when the link command appears, typed in the above.
