site seems ok in IE and opera and aol although we are having problems with Netscape.
We have a shopping cart included also and cannott seem to get it to add the test item (hard drive) to the cart. along with some strange visual affects on other pages.

I like the template but don't think comic sans is a good font for a business site. The different colored links on the parts page was really confusing, I kept wondering if there was a significance to the different colors or if you were just trying to achieve a barber pole appearance. On your home page if you used a smaller font more of your important information would appear in that important first screen real estate. The rollover image of the Pentium 4 logo was really poor quality. Since you're using a side bar there you might think about putting some other items up ther, again to make use of valuable first screen space, like the trade-up info. The payPal and PowWeb logos are also poor looking. There's a gap between the blue on the side and the bottom on the home page. All picky stuff that could be easily changed or ignored since a lot of it is just my personal taste and opinion.

spooky thanxx for all your input and i do agree on most of it.What i am really interested in right now is the compatability issues with Netscape and not being able to use the cart on Netscape. All those little things are easy fix.

EWD covered a lot of the same things I was thinking. Primarily the size and color of the text in the body.

The first thing I noticed though was the logo. Large html fonts don't look very smooth.

Hi elite - i looked at your site in IE and NN 4.08 and everythng looks fine. Looks like you;ve incorporated some of the suggestions above. I don't see any strange visual affects in NN. Didn't play with the shopping cart cuz it doesn't appear active.

If you are still having problems, perhaps you could be more specific?

Thanks Bruce Yes the cart is somewhat operational, but only works 100% in IE browser
that is what i am mainly concerned with.In Netscape it will not let me recalculate or change the number of items. this was tested in NN6.2 / Also i am getting a big break in the top banner which all looks fine in IE !If you would care to take a look at the cart go to
http://www.elitepcs.com/hard%20drive.htm the hard drive is the only part which is activated for testing . thanxx elite

I believe the problem with your shopping cart to be a simple one. I can't tell yo specifically what it is, but it appears to be stemming from the html used to create the links necessary within your shopping cart. Go back and make sure your shopping cart links - those used to create your buttons and their links, is pristine. IE will forgive a lot of these. Netscape will not.

Sorry i can't be more specific, but if you just double/triple check your code, i think you'll get it.

As for the banner graphic break, i see what yo mean now. It actually does show up a when I go back and look at this particualr problem in IE as well, just not as badly.

I do notice that the only pages with these problems are Home and Parts. The rest look fine to me in NN 4.08 and IE. When I look closer at those two pages, I see that the spacing and graphic your are using appear to be different than the other pages (the ones that work). Check for consistency in that regard - perhaps redoing the messed up pages using one of the other pages that works as a template - would fix the problem.

Again, not a majore problem and sorry I can't be more specific.

Good luck!
