why won't my drop box submit to database? - 3/19/2002 14:37:48
I have a drop down box, in the submit form, it is to choose location, when you hit submit, the cofirmation page recognizes the location, but when i do a search, it will find the rest of the info i just submitted but not he location, it will be blank.
If you want to try, goto www.saskads.ca/auto_placead.asp to place ad,
www.saskads.ca/auto_search.asp to search.

Are your results going into one big DB table or does each location have it's own table?

What is the SQL being used to save the information or what is the asp used?
It may be that a form or column is incorrectly named, as all other info does get saved.

[blue}Chameleon, all the results are going to the same table. It will just list off all the info in columns. Location is just one of the columns.
Spooky[/blue], I'am still learning, I don't know what the asp i am using is, the database is located at auto_results.asp, if that helps.

nevermind, you guys.
I went through for the thousanth time and realized under saved field the coulumn to save the location was not specified.
Thanks anyways.
PS: I want to buy the Ford Pinto, for $2.50 haha
