Just figured out this graphics thing... - 3/20/2002 2:53:36
If you have HUGE graphics, even after resizing, you need to resample the graphics. Not only does it make the image WAY smaller, but it cleans it up nice too! I don't remember coming across this (but I'm often brain dead) and I thought it could help people who have very slow loading pages and can't figure out why. Brain Transplant Candidate

To resample, click on the image > find the resample icon on the image toolbar that usually either appears at the bottom of the window or pops up on the screen, and click it. This is the fast way to change image size, but you can often get better quaity if you make the change in a graphics program. t

After playing with this a little, it seems to work best when you start with a big picture and reduce it by a LOT. I had passable results with larger images, but it saved me a big headache. Brain Transplant Candidate
