I recieved an email from my hosts today with the following:

I rebooted the server again, do you think you could try using another MS Jet driver version? It appears to be which ever one your using is killing itself.

Please can someone translate for me! THanks!

MS Jet is the underlying code that makes the database work. In Access case it is designed to (try to) be small and fast, unlike SQL server which is designed for many simultaneous connections and queries. Also in Access and web, I believe (could be wrong) that for each query two connections have to be maintained!. You can update the Jet driver with an Access Service pack or from MS, but it probably won't be enough

Where possible, you want to use the OLEDB driver, not the standard ODBC driver.

How are you connecting to your database? What connection string?
