Help! All I see is HTML in Netscape - 3/20/2002 16:40:56
Just checked a new site I just put up in Netscape 4.5 and all I see is HTML. If I add the "index.htm" it goes to the page fine. Never had this happen before. I have no clue, thanks in advance for any help.

I think the problem might be in un-matched table, center, or div tags. If you take a look at your source and do the math I think the error will out.

It looks like the default for a home page on your server is set to default.asp. You'll need to either rename your page from index.htm to default.asp or have your host change the setting so that index.htm is the default.

Thanks all very much for your feedback. This is my first time here and am totally impressed by the forum - only hope I can be of help to someone some day. Anyway, tried making the home page "default.asp" to no avail, checked tables etc. and all looked OK, finally shutdown, restarted, uploaded the index.htm file again, and it appears to be working in Netscape now....I dunno, but I'm glad its working.
