What's a Junior Member ? - 8/15/2001 16:52:00
What is this Junior Member business ?

When/how does one become a full Member ?

What grandiose levels can one rise to ?

A newbie, FNG, biginner, rookie, new kid on the block, fresh blood, fresh meat, tadpole, etc.

That's just what they call you when you start here at OF.

As far as how to move up in rank, that is a mystery to us all. I personally think that Mr. Brunt (The Benevolent Lord and Master) selects randomly the names of members for advancement. (throwing darts, spinning a wheel, or some other form of devil magick)

It came as a complete surprise to me when I saw my status had risen to Member. I can only look forward to what I may become in the future...

I think it has to do with the number of posts - I suspect about 20 or so posts will 'promote' you...

rdouglas is correct - you need to be nothing more that verbose to climb the ladder to 'member'. As to how high you can rise - one morning you may wake up to find that you have in fact become Thomas Brunt! Imagine that!

WAIT A MINUTE...! I have just become a Member!!!

Is this the the sweetest day of my life or what? I can't believe it! Really! I must have been blind or lost in space or something.

I have to give thanks to the great master of all webmasters Mr.Thomas Brunt for such a nice gesture, or am I drinking a little too much of that sour liquid from the green bottle?

Oh well...life goes on, with a big smile on my face.

Remember though. Recently crowned Members must buy all the drinks tonight at the local tavern as part of the initiation process.
