Problem w/ site...Help - 3/21/2002 15:47:22
My site looks good but shows up a jumbled mess on some laptops. Could someone take a look and tell me what's wrong and the easiest way to fix it. Help is definitely appreciated. The site is www.grayslakefire.com

I see two problems with a quick glance (I'll try to get back later):

1. absolute positioning - very tyricky to make it work

2. Here's one section of your code

                                                             </font><b><font color="#000080" face="Berlin Sans FB" size="3">

Way too much space bar!

Also, I get a scroll - I think you probably need to use % instead of absolute widths on your tables. It's really hard to read the code with all the  's in it...

dear doo600

I would like to encourage you to use the wonderful tutorials/FAQs here out OutFront. You are doing pretty well with FrontPage, but not taking full advantage of it's features. One of the primary features is TABLES. Then you won't need all the spaces.

Here's another good topic for all of the great information on your web site.

You have a good start but this will make you have the best site. Good luck.
