My site is:
http://www.theworldview.org/tabuleiro

I have only had frontpage for a couple of weeks and this is my first attempt at a site build. The mother site belongs to my friend, however, so just evaluate the /tabuleiro directories

Hi SMY2,
Welcome to OutFront

Looked at your site with XP, IE 6.0, 28.8 on 56K modem and resolution at 800 X 600. The site loaded fast.

One question however, is the entire page yours or is a portion of the frames shared with the host site? The only problem I saw was the green text on the white background for The Worldview Forum - rather hard on the eyes.

Looking forward to future posts!

John

Yes, the green needs to be changed. Forgive for sounding stupid, but I did not understand your question about sharing a frame with the site.

It is a page with no frames. The site belongs to both me and a friend. He designed the mother site, and gave me the /tabuleiro directory.

Hi smy2,
My question as to the frames originated from the fact that your site looked like it was designed with them due to the links on each side. I thought they were from the host site. I went back and clicked around a bit more and saw that it was not - see, no need to apologize for stupidity here

Some things I did notice:
(1) On your home page, you have a link to Tabuleiro Home which brought me back to the home page.

(2) When I clicked the My Apartment link, I received machine coding. You have it looking like a hyperlink. Unsure as to who you are directing your site to, but most casual users will not follow instructions as to saving information from an unknown site to their computer to open. I'd suggest a direct link.

(3) On your right-hand links, you have the words underlined which made me think they were hyperlinks. I finally figured out I had to click the pictures to see the image.

The problem is that it is a video file, a .wmv video file. I can not make it download directly. It always tries to load as a webpage. Unfortunately, even though I am paying pretty good money for my web hosting, it would cost a lot more to upgrade to video streaming. The video is 1 meg in lenght so it doesnt take too long to download. I just wish I could make it download directly.
