what to do with form results. - 3/25/2002 11:46:02
okay, so a found out that i can't use a file upload with a form. What can i do now, a)have the form sent to database, and have the confirmation page be a file upload page, where the images are sent to an email adress, where i will place them in the database afterwards. b)on one page have the file upload which saves to directory, and on the next page have the form where the names of the pics that have just been saved to directory, transfered to a text field, which is saved to a database? which is the better idea? more suggestions? I have a site where I am using file upload with a form but I am sending the info in the form fields to a text file and the images in the upload field to a folder/directory. I am using php to do it. You could also send all of the info to a database. If you have access to php and mysql there are probably free scripts that you could use. If you are using the FP upload component I don't know as I have never used it. Shirley Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal. Money Tree Web Design
