Big Lebowski -> Why does FP save in AOL HTML format? (3/25/2002 12:27:17)

Yeah, why? How do I change this on pages that have already been created, and how do I change the default?

I'm not only curious but confused. I think we need a little more information to figure this one out.

Anyone know where I can get my black & white TV fixed?

OK, I start FP, open my web, and click on "Open." The list of web pages comes up, and it shows that despicable AOL icon to the left of the page name. Momentarily, this icon changes to something else. to the right of the page name, I see the file size follwoed by "AOL HTML DDocument." If I look at the properties for each individual page,it also says thaat it's an AOL HTML Document. Thus far, no references found in the FP manual or the other FP book I have.

Dude,

I've never heard of AOL html format. Could you give us a url? I'm guessing there's some meta tag on the page that denotes this. I have no idea why FP would insert that tag, however.

btw, loved your movie!

No URL at this point (it's only on my computer.) I'm wondering if perhaps FP detects my default browser? I'll change to HTML view and see if there's anything there.
Thanks!
P.S> Great movie, huh? A classic fer sure...

If AOL is your default browser then that's what's up here.
