WS-FTP and my webs - 3/26/2002 20:55:33
On my old computer I used WS-FTP to upload my files to an online content provider site where I work, as called for. It was old, but it worked. For the new computer, I decided to just download the latest WS-FTP and go from there.

I have been having quite a time with it in one respect. It used to be that after making page changes in Front Page 2000, when I arrived at the WS-FTP directory where the uploaded files resided, I would find the files that had been worked on and saved, below the WS-FTP icon in my folder and file list.

Now, in Win XP, with the new WS-FTP, the newly updated files are not in place below the WS-FTP icon as they were formerly. Now I have to search through the long list of files to find them. How can I get them to take their rightful place at the bottom below WS-FTP icon?

Thanks a bunch for helpful advise!

Hi,

Do you mean when you start WS? The folder on the left hand side? If so you can go into properties and set your start folder to wherever you want. I would give you more exact terminoligy but I am sitting in a class today.
