lost web data on HD, how to save from web? - 3/27/2002 18:25:23
Hi - need some help here please. I'm using WinME, had HD problems, did a system restore and tail end of restore was lost - which included my website with FP2000. so now it is only on the web with the server host. Can you tell me how I get it from the server host web site to save it into my blank FP2000? is this possible? sort of beginner language for me please. thanks so much. Dar

open your site live
I just click on the fp icon at the top of my browser but some people open it from frontpage.
file
open web
type your url
it will ask for your name and pwd
When it asks where to publish it to click browse and Publish it to your hard drive mydocuments/mywebs or whereever you want it to reside.
