Suggestions/Ideas/Thoughts Please - 3/30/2002 23:56:44
O.k., It's been a long time coming but I think I'm ready for some constructive criticism...or not! Just so you all know, this is the first web site I've designed. Before this...don't laugh...I didn't know anything about the internet except that I could send my friends an email. So, with that said, I invite you to my domain.

Thanks to all of the members and employees here at Outfront that have helped me with designing my site and keeping my sanity (somewhat)!

Thanks,
Josh

Hi Josh,

To start let me say we've all had our "first site" and my observations are just that, observations". Far be it from me to be critical.
First thing I would prefer to get a looksey without having to log in (and you have several areas requiring seperate login). If I were interested, I would register. I'd also go for a bit more consistancy from section to section, dark grey to orange to white backgrounds and back again tend to confuse me (especially when I need to log in several times to get the full use of the site). You have a link on your "Music Hole" page that goes back to the general classified page which I believe was intended to go to the "Music" page Remember, these are just my observations (ok maybe some opinion ) and can be taken with a grain of salt.

Good Luck

ah reckon, tharfo'e ah's, ah reckon.

Hi Josh,
I agree with Mike on the registration. I think a lot of people are probably like me. I don't register for anything unless it looks like something I would be interested in. When I hit a site that I can't even look at I just generally move on.

Could you perhaps let people in to look around but set it up so that they can't really do anything once they are in without registering. Since I didn't register, I'm not sure how the buying and selling of books or the music works once in.
