WRXSTi03 -> New web site... getting there. (4/5/2002 20:43:42)

My new web site is up and running, a classified page, I know not another... anyway, I started it knowing nothing, I mean nothing about ASP or SQL. I knew basic HTML only.

It's for my use and really any one else who wishes.

huh? The server's been up and running... try it again or do a refresh if the page fails. I my have to remove the hibernation feature on the PC if, maybe that was the cause ?

Looked at your site with XE, IE 6.0, 28.8 on 56K modem and resolution at 800 X 600.

The site took 50 seconds to load. It appears to be your "bigPoochie" gif - it is big at 118,510 bytes. You may want to resize it.

Thanks... I've changed it from 116k to 7k in size.

Hmmm. Well, if you don't give me an idea what's in it, I'm not going to stay and I'm certainly not going to register.

So, on the front, I'd like to see an Yahoo! or Ebay style directory with an item count, and I'd like to be able to look at the ads without registering. It's normal on a classified site to only require people to register to list or reply to listings, eh?

Other than that, I have no feedback really as I couldn't see anything.

Ok... I was thinking about that, but wan'nt sure on the registering vs. searching thing. I'll go ahead and look into making the changes.
