Web-safe fonts - 4/9/2001 22:55:00
What are some fonts that are considered "web-safe"?

Brandon's Poetry Corner

"Good artists copy, great artists steal" - Picasso (originally), Bill Gates, and Steve Jobs

"Bother," said Pooh as his breaks went out.

My "vote" goes for "Arial, Verdana, Helvetica"

Times New Roman is also considered 'safe' but serif fonts such as this are less easy on the eye for those reading text from a screen.

This is a useful link: http://www.builder.com/Graphics/Type/ss01c.html

I notice that this and other sources mention Palatino as being safe - I don't have it, to the best of my knowledge I never did.

Hi Mystic,

I use, right now, Arial, Geneva and Helvetica. I have found the following two links usefull...
