Is a User Registration page difficult to set up?

Thanks, Gail

Do you mean registering to use a certain portion of a site (login, password)? if so then you have asked a very good question. There is an oufront FAQ for this subject here...http://www.outfront.net/tutorials_02/fp_techniques/subwebs.htm

is there a specific domain that you wanted to set it up for. You can test the server type at www.netcraft.com

User Registration and Authentication are different on Windows2000 or Linux servers. If you are on Windows2000 look at the Spooky Login right here in these forums... http://www.frontpagecommerce.com/shop/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=7&cat=Cool+Tools. In Linux passwords are set externally from FrontPage.

Maintenance of accounts and passwords can grow to a real task so you want to be able to automate it as much as possible. I have seen javascript that creates registration features but I'm not sure how secure that is...

Gail,
This is a fantastic little java script that password protects a page where the user actually has to enter the page name to enter (i.e. - members_only.htm). Entering anything else will get you booted to the "failure" page.

Good luck.
