This isn't a new site, but I would appreciate feedback anyway; I've done this in a "learn as you go" process, and could probably use some tips.

Thanks,
Scout

Hi Scout,

I think your site is very nice and professional looking. The only comment I have is that with the number of pages that you have for a visitor to browse thru, you might want to add navigation links for "Next" and "Back" to each page. It might be overkill, but you can almost never have enough navigation aids for your visitors. Also you could add an anchor link to "Top of Page". Good Job!

Kokomo -> RE: Viewing request (4/10/2002 12:22:28)

I think I would put the same navigation menu you have on the home page on each subsequent page. Personally, I don't care for "Next" and "Back" navigation... I want to know exactly where I'm going when I click on a navigation link. "Next" and "Back" are too ambiguous for me.

Hi Scout,
Looked at your site with XP, IE 6.0 and resolution at 800 X 600.

The site loaded extremely fast, even with my 28.8 on 56K modem

I agree with Kokomo, links on each page would help. You already have the blue border on the side so why not fill it up?

On your "Spring 2002 Newsletter" page, the right-hand side of the frame scrolls, but the links do not on the left. I have a feeling there are more links below "City of Portland Keeping....."

Hope this helped,

John
