Well, I wanted to wait until I posted another topic specifically targeting the Print Screen key. I've got a shortcut that I think many of you will appreciate and just could not wait! Alt + Print Screen Takes a screen shot of the currently open window. Not the entire screen, but just the window that you've selected. Go ahead, give it a try! quote: Hi. One of my favorites is to hold down <shift> and use the arrow keys to select text.
Instead of using the arrow keys you can use the Home and End buttons to get to the begining and end quickly.

Didn' t see this one -- CTRL+ESC opens the start menu, as if you had tapped the Windows key. Useful when you need to use the backup keyboard from the 386 picking up dirt in the corner :( Can' t combine CTRL + ESC + other keys, though -- it doesn' t do anything special. At least, not as far as I can tell.

Hello all, At our Computer Club' s Koffeeless Klatch, someone stated that the PrtScn key was going away and would no longer be supported. Any confirmation of this? I would like to pass it along in our newsletter if true. I personally don' t care, as I use SnagIt because of its selectivity and various output formats.

Something I could never understand with Windows - why do I have to go to the START menu to STOP the computer?
