Hi everyone

This question has me baffled. Every Monday morning I update one of my customer's websites with her newspaper ad. She just forwarded me an email she received from someone stating they don't see the updated ad until Wednesday. I emailed this person back suggesting she hit her refresh key just in case she had bookmarked the site. She said that wasn't the case. Does anyone know what gives with this? Is this a cache problem? Would I need to put some type of special code in? I noticed her email address was at webtv and am wondering if something is up with them? Any ideas??

Try putting a no cache tag in the header and see if that helps.

That's a good idea, Bri...

A lot of ISP's only re-cache pages every two to ten days. I used to have this problem with ATT from time to time... it happens most often in AOL.

No matter how many times the visitor clicks a refresh key they only see what their ISP has cached... usually only lasts a few days.
