Error message on Front Page - 8/31/2001 16:45:00
Hello
Newbie- who is REALLY a beginner- that is my disclaimer! I am updating pages daily of an inherited website- and several times a week- after I make my changes- (publishing live)- I go to save the changes- and get this message:
"Could not find a web server at XXXX on port 80. Check to make sure web server name is valid and your proxy settings are correct. If you are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be temporarily out of service"
This is really frustrating me,and I have no idea why this keeps happening. Is it a front page error- or is this a problem with my host provider- or just tie ups in the internet. When I go and check my website is "up" not down- so I just don't understand. It happens so frequently - that if it is my host I am thinking I should change...
