g-john -> IIS (4/22/2002 5:46:06) I tried running IIS on Windows XP (from CD) and after installation when i click on start from IIS properties it says "The service has not been started" and sure i cant access 127.0.0.1 My drive is FAT formated. Is it necessary that to run IIS.. NTFS is required???

DPayer -> RE: IIS (5/11/2002 11:17:46) Try going into the services app of the control panel. Try to start the service manually. It is usually at the bottom, labeled Web Publishing Service (something like that).
