IIS - 4/22/2002 5:46:06
I tried running IIS on Windows XP (from CD) and after installation when i click on start from IIS properties it says "The service has not been started" and sure i cant access 127.0.0.1 My drive is FAT formated. Is it necessary that to run IIS.. NTFS is required???

Try going into the services app of the control panel. Try to start the service manually. It is usually at the bottom, labeled Web Publishing Service (something like that).
