I uploaded my site to a server easy enough and have no problems administering site on the server; however, I would like to keep a backup of my the updated site on disk but I can't seem to be able to download the site in its' entirety. How do I download the entire site for a backup?

Mike

Hi,

When connected to the site live hit the publish button. On the popup window jut put in a local path. I normally create the folder first in Windows Explorer. Then when the publish process hits hte local folder it will warn you that it needs to "convert" the folder, just answer yes.

Mike,

Following the Publishing of your site to your local folder, always open the web site on your local folder and Publish to the server using the Publish changed pages only feature.

Then your two will always be in sync. This provides continuing backup without even thinking about "backup." In addition, I also backup the local folder to a second computer networked to my main system.

Enjoy! It's your endeavor!
