Deleting Discussion posts (Full Version)

Is there any clean way of deleting posts from a discussion web? I've tried this in the past and ended up causing catastrophic damage to the discussion web requiring a complete rebuild... not much fun despite it's small size. I know I can't be the first person to ask this, but I couldn't find the answer to the question anywhere on OutFront.

Basically no there isn't a clean way. I recently was successful in removing a post, but it had been the most recent one posted, and I held my breath the entire time. If you are using the FP discussion wizard, you should not rely on being able to edit messages. If this is a frequent task, you might want to consider using another message board.
