Formatting for Netscape - 4/10/2001 23:29:00
Hi Guys,

I am having a terrible time trying to get my pages looking right in Netscape. The text was imported from Word doc files & formatted in PF with 10 point Verdana fonts. Everything looks just the way it is supposed to in IE but in NS it turns to custard. The fonts appear to be defaulting to 8 point & I lose most of my formatting. The site is:

www.bhbdental.co.nz

The following pages (menu choices) were all setup with the same formatting in FP:

The Practice
Our Services
Soothing Fears

The only one that looks right in NS is Our Services. They all look OK in FP although for some reason The Practice has screwed up the line spacing. Probably missing something really basic here but would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction before I go totally ga ga.

Cheers,

Geoff Pearson

Even though Word can convert doc to HTML, and FP will allow you to copy and paste from just about anyplace, including word docs.

It will usually end up causing problems of one kind or another.

The best thing to do, paste into Notepad (or some other plain text editor) then paste into FP and "arrange" or format the presentation.

I think you'll be a lot happier and get the results ou want a lot faster.
