Shared Borders Disappearing - 4/11/2001 20:02:00
Right, that's it. This is far from the first time this has happened. Can anyone tell me why FP2000 sometimes forgets all the content of the shared borders so that I have to re-create it? Is there anything I can do to fix this occasional problem? Big time-waster and very annoying. Any advice appreciated.

The same thing happens to me with my picture bullets. Every time I open, edit, then close my page (after saving, of course) my picture bullets disappear and change into regular bullets. Then after fixing them, I have to upload the page several times before they will upload properly. I'd love some help with this too...Extremely time consuming and annoying!!

Have you tried rebooting and then opening FrontPage to see if it was a temporary problem with your computer?Lore ------------------

hmmmmm. That's an interesting thought. The same problem has happened on several different days (in-between reboots), but it's worth a try next time it happens. Thanks.

I have tried re-booting, closing application & re-starting, and all of that. But it doesn't work, once the content is gone, it's gone (I've gone into the html of the borders files and it's just not there anymore). It only happens intermittantly, and I was reading in another forum that FP is a bit buggy sometimes when you shut down with the X in RH corner rather than using File/Exit in toolbar. Could that be it?
