Volume site production - 5/11/2002 1:00:51
If you wanted to create industry specific web sites (like real estate or auto dealer for example) in volume, that had the same basic skeleton (online listings, about us, contact, etc.) but each having unique content and appearance, would that best be accomplished by purchasing a batch of templates? Or would you create the "bones" so to speak and then save-as and build on fresh each time a new one is designed. What other options would there be? thanks steve

Steve, If you have your "starter" site on a server, simply open that site live and publish to your My Documents>My Webs>sitea folder on your hard drive. Do this again to a siteb folder and so on. Make changes to each site as desired. Even klutzier is to use FrontPage's shared borders and Themes. I create a simple "production" site in about half an hour using these standard features. The client wanted cheap! http://www.anthem-options.org Enjoy! It's your endeavor! http://www.anthemwebs.com http://www.moderncabinetmaking.com
